"Learning about the power of prayer"

My husband and I have just completed the discipleship courses at Cornerstone and what a blessing they have been to our family. We learned more than we ever imagined. We learned about the power of prayer and living righteously in our walk with God. Those classes opened our eyes to the real strength we have in Christ. We were able to learn exactly what this church believes and that everything they do is based solely on the Word of God. That to us was a very important part of what we wanted to accomplish through these courses, we wanted to make sure that we were attending a church that followed the Word and did not add or take from it. We also learned about the power of our prayer lives and how that impacts so greatly on every aspect of our lives in and outside of the church body.

We were encouraged throughout the studies to pray over what we had learned and we were able to engage with one another as well as our course leader over any questions or concerns that we had. We came away from these courses with a deeper faith and a spirit of hope and anticipation for the future.

God has truly blessed our family since these courses. Our prayers for a better job were answered to our exact specifications, we were also in deep prayer over the need for a second vehicle for our family and we prayed with conviction using what we had learned about faith and righteousness and our prayers were answered yet again, my parents are graciously giving us their van, when they purchase a new one this summer. Those are only two of the ways that God has been moving in our lives. He blesses daily in so many ways.

We are so pleased that we took the next step in our faith and became members of Cornerstone. For us, these courses opened our eyes to so much and reaffirmed our belief that this was to be our church home.
